I began charcoal drawing while in grade school after receiving the booklet, “Learn to draw with Jon Gnagy,” as a Christmas gift. My fascination with oils began with German painter, Bill Alexander on his PBS television show, “the Magic of Oil Painting.” Soon afterward, I was painting happy little trees along with Bob Ross! Those early years were a catalyst for my love affair with anything art related. While in college, I was introduced to the field of Photography, which has become my profession to this day. Many of my photos have been featured weekly on many local news stations and websites. I recently branched out and started experimenting with soft pastels, watercolors, and mixed media art. I have such a passion to share God’s creation through these differing mediums.
I am a member of the Pastel Society of America (PSA) and hold an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Arts Technology.
