The Quabbin Art Association (QAA) was founded in the Spring of 2016 by Belchertown, MA, residents Denise Fontaine-Pincince and Jennifer Turner. A call for volunteers to assist with its initial organization brought Alan Izatt, Sandra Burke, Deborah Sacon, and Judy Bettencourt to the core group of founders. The first general meeting of the Association, open to the public and to recruit members, was held in the Belchertown Town Hall in October of that year.
Quabbin Art Association provides education, support, and opportunity for local artists and patrons, and promotes community interest and appreciation in the visual arts.
Quabbin Art Association is located in Belchertown Massachusetts. With a small, yet dedicated team of professionals and volunteers, the QAA staff strives for excellence as it continues to work towards the goals and objectives set forth by the QAA Board of Directors and its members.
