Monthly Meetings are traditionally held the 3rd Thursday of the month, with the exception of July and August. Meetings are held at St. Francis Parish Hall, 12 Park Street in Belchertown, MA on the Town Common. Doors open at 6:30 for socializing; meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
Free and open to the public, our meetings are a gathering place for collaboration among artists and art appreciators. Meetings consist of a business meeting followed by an artist's demonstration, lecture, or information session. A "give-away" table is also available for members who have art supplies they wish to re-home. Members and non-members are encouraged to attend our meetings.
During Covid: we will assess month-to-month and may cancel our meeting if health concerns warrant it. Please check below for each month's status.
In response to COVID prevention and control efforts aimed at ensuring the health and safety of all, the Quabbin Art Association announced our monthly (March-December) public meetings cancelled. In place of meetings QAA held free Zoom Art Chats, an informal gathering of anyone interested in sharing their most recent art creations, activities, classes, dreams.
Thanks to all who joined in on QAA Art Chats via Zoom. We had a good number of participation from artists with multiple interests to share.
