Katharine Wyland is a recently retired professional photographer and digital imaging specialist who worked in New Jersey and New York for more than 22 years. During her career, she earned 15 awards within the professional publishing community for excellence in visual storytelling and image production.
An artist beyond the lens, Katharine works across multiple mediums, including pastel, watercolor, and oil painting, practices she has pursued since her college years. Her work explores landscapes and expressive portraits of both animals and people, blending observation with atmosphere and character.
Her artwork has been exhibited at The Plantations Club, Skidaway Island, Savannah, GA; The Rainbow, a juried exhibition at The Byrd Gallery, Nyack, NY; the international Abilities juried exhibition in Toronto, Canada; the Hilton Hotel, Newark, NJ; Havana Restaurant, New Hope, PA; and Borders Bookstore, Nassau Park, Princeton, NJ.
