My name is Heeju Yoo. I am Korean American. I live in a small town near the shining waters of the Quabbin Reservoir after immigrating. I published four poetry books in the Korean literature field. I began to paint to overcome physical and emotional fatigue, returning me to life. Visual Art gave me the courage to publish my poetry. Working in the visual art field is my second circle of life. I do painting, ceramics, sculpture, and installation art, but I focus on painting. All my works embody the poetic images I write. I work to visualize the invisible soul and time.
