Hello! My name is Greg Hampton and I'm currently an abstract painter. I believe there are so many ways to express ones self in the art world, and I've tried almost every medium of art there is. I've been drawing ever since I could hold a crayon, and as a young adult I attended The Art Institute of Boston in the 90's. I graduated with a BFA in photography.
After college I focused on film photography for many years, while still drawing and painting. Years later I branched out to different mediums such as printmaking, portrait work, and silk screen. After a short-lived online t-shirt company, I got into woodworking where I experimented with geometric wall hangings, small furniture building, and birdhouses. I built myself a woodshop & for close to a decade I almost entirely worked with wood and other reclaimed materials.
In 2018 I started experimenting with collage work and then emerged back into painting, while concentrating on abstract and mixed media. I've been doing abstract painting for close to a decade now.
