Patricia Bonnet sold a painting from her August exhibit at Aunt Elsie's Oatmeal Crisps.
Roger Duffy's artwork was accepted into the 27th Annual Piedmont Art Show in Somers, CT, located at 600 Main Street. The show is scheduled to run from September 15–29.
Rochelle Schicoff will be exhibiting her artwork September 5-28 in a two person show Stories and Voices: All of What is Possible at Gallery A3. Reception is Thursday, September 5 from 5:00-8:00 pm. For an Artists in Community Forum on September 19, in Gallery A3 at 7:30 pm, Rochelle Shicoff and Ron Maggio have invited community writers and poets to read and discuss their work.
There is a Popup Show with theme "Blue" scheduled September 21 & 22 at the House of Art, Monson. $100 Best of Show Ribbon in major categories. Show opens Saturday, September 21, 1:00pm–4:00pm with reception scheduled Sunday, September 22, noon–4:00pm. There will also be a Silent Auction and a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate "MAC" the Dragon. Several of our artist members Roger Duffy, Fred Gao, Jackie Griswold, Alan Izatt and Randi Shenkman are participating vendors at the Mattoon Street Art Festival scheduled September 7 & 8. View www.mattoonfestival.org for more information.
The Bohemian Owl is an art gallery where several local artist members, working in various mediums, show their creations of painting, photography, jewelry, knit and sewn creations, sculpture. Now open Thursdays 12:00-4:00pm and Friday 12:00-5:00 pm.
