Member Announcements

Congratulations to Kara Bigda, Roger Duffy, Jackie Griswold, Bev Phaneuf, Randi Shenkman, Rochelle Shicoff and Maureen Solomon on their artwork exhibits in the juried show “The Magic of Art” at Monson House of Art through April 28. See the List of Selected Artwork.

Meg Bandara will be exhibiting at the Monson Festival Of Art, April 13 from 1-4. Town Hall, 198 Main Street, Monson, MA. The festival is happening in conjunction with the spring art show next door at the Monson House Of Art. She will have framed and unframed paintings, greeting cards and jewelry available.

Kara Bigda will be showing her artwork at ArtWorks Gallery on Main Street in Ware, MA during the month of April. In addition, she has some paintings in the Francesca Anderson Gallery in Lexington, MA for her “Birds, Gardens and Flowers” show in May.

Anne Cohen sold her painting The Park in Winter at our recent Cooley Dickinson art exhibit.

Carrie Gould is exhibiting her artwork at Auntie Elsie's Oatmeal Crisps through the month of April.

Alan Izatt received a First Place Award for his Pen & Ink piece The Good Old Buoys From Rockport at The Chicopee Public Library Art Show.

Bee Leake is exhibiting her artwork in “The Art of Words” at Bread Euphoria Bakery and Cafe in Haydenville through April 30. In addition, Bee will also be a vendor at Pioneer Valley Zine Fest at Flywheel Arts Collective on Saturday April 13 from 11-4 pm. They will be selling zines (self-published booklets with their art and writing), prints, and screen printed patches.

Nancy Roy announced the Palmer Artisan Festival is scheduled May 4, from 11am-4pm. The Art Gallery and Pop-Up Shop at Interactive School House will be open during the event.

Rochelle Shicoff willl have her painting Sundown Is This Hour from the series "The Stories Inside: Palestinian Woman Challenging Israeli Soldiers" in the Syracuse Cultural Workers 2020 Women Artists Datebook.

Barbara Sullivan will be giving an Alcohol Ink Art workshop as part of ArtWeek on April 30 at the Clapp Memorial Library. The library will be funding the event which will be limited to 12 participants.
