Cynthia (Cindy) L Ablicki has been interested in art in many forms since she was a child. She always was in the top of her classes in art and kept up with her creative side even as she married and started her family. She then went on to develop her creative talents in interior design and organizing. That is her current occupation. However, in the last few years she has decided to turn her love of art into a new profession.
During these years Cindy has completed many new works, most of which are based on photographs she has taken herself. "It is much easier for me to paint in the studio. The photos I take are always of scenes that inspire me!! I am also now concentrating on portraits, again with photos I have taken. Although I am always willing to take on a commission if you have a very special photo you would like recreated."
Cindy was awarded the Presidents Choice for "The Gallery" at the 17th Annual Monson Arts Council Show in Monson, MA. She was also accepted into the annual Juried Student Show at Wistariahurst Museum in Holyoke, MA for "Sunrise Solitude". She is a member and student of the Holyoke Creative Arts Center in Holyoke, MA.
